The Pan-African Solidarity Education Network (PASEN) is a network of scholars, educators, academics and researchers from across the African Diaspora and the African continent, working in solidarity and a shared vision for the advancement of the education and skills development of African and African heritage youth.
A key tool for this advancement is the enhancement of the principles, empowerment and emancipation of the concepts of Pan-African Education as a road-map for African unity and its development agenda.
PASEN is uniquely the only initiative of its kind with both an education/skills development thematic focus and linking the African Diaspora and the African continent in a sustainable strategic working partnership.

Aims & Objectives of the PASEN Audit/Scoping Study
PASEN is conducting a scoping audit/study via a web questionnaire:
- To generate an international overview of the state of Pan-African education in the African continent and in the Diaspora, with a view to assessing the gaps, challenges and opportunities for advancing the vision, aims and objectives of PASEN.
- To create synergies in the international landscape on Pan-African education so as to engender the development of
collaborative networks, research and development paradigms. - To frame and capture the international landscape on Pan-African education so as to fully inform the work of PASEN, avoid duplication of existing initiatives, maximise the utilisation of limited resources, and enhance the targeting of activities in the areas that are most under-served to achieve sustainable impact.
